A & K Siding Co. opened its doors in 1983 selling box steel and vinyl siding. In 1994 A & K purchased its first seamless steel siding machine, several more seamless steel siding machines and a seamless gutter machine. A & K Siding Co. was started by Hardy Koontz. He had nothing but knowledge of the business and a dream of being the best exterior specialty contractor in the area.
In 2003 Hardy was joined by his son, Chris Koontz, to help him manage, operate, and sell for A & K. Since Chris has joined the company A & K has improved in sales and reduced sales pressure on Hardy.
This has created a father son team of superior stature aimed at quality products and customer satisfaction.
